Adjunctive Therapies

The Biomat Therapy relieves pain by providing a deep, penetrating infrared heat that increases cellular wall permeability. This encourages proper cellular nutrient absorption to eliminate fluid accumulation and relieve pain.

The TDP Lamp

TDP Mineral Lamp Therapy promotes microcirculation through the emission of 33 essential minerals and FIR (Far Infrared). Infrared therapy has been shown to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, promote blood circulation and improve the immune system.

Another type of device used is Microcurrent Therapy for pain management, arthritis, fibromyalgia and peripheral neuropathy. There have been many positive results using microcurrent treatment for all types of peripheral neuropathy or nerve pain.

Electrical Stimulation

The procedure for Electro-Acupuncture involves needles inserted as in a traditional treatment with a small electrode attached. This provides a gentle stimulation to the qi moving through these points. Electrical stimulation is used to encourage endorphin release and to trigger the body’s natural pain relief mechanisms.

Pachi Pachi

In Pachi Pachi Therapy, needles are inserted at acupuncture points with the addition of an ion pumping cord that transmits a direct current to flow in one direction along the channel. A pachi pachi sparker is then used to stimulate the current to the needle to change the electrical sensation and relieve pain. It has been used very successfully in relieving back pain, balancing thyroid and in relieving migraine headaches.
